FNF 1 - Acquiring Basic Financial Fluency

If you’re a non-finance manager in your company and want to learn the language of finance to enable you to communicate with your finance colleagues or external financial consultants then this is the course for you.

Offering an overview of the key areas of finance, this course is aimed at helping managers with little or no previous experience of finance to understand the fundamental financial concepts. 

Delivered in a friendly and easy to understand way, this course will provide a grounding in the core areas of finance. 

FNF 3 - Management Accounting Fluency

This one day intensive programme provides an introduction to a topic which is integral to the daily life of any business manager: an understanding of planning and forecasting (managerial accounting).

The course proceeds in a practical way from basic principles of cost behaviour to the subtleties of managerial decision-making. 

Along the way, we examine the challenges of budget preparation and variance analysis. The programme is designed to develop a "cost-sense" amongst participants.

FNF 2 - Financial Statements Analysis 

As a non-finance manager in your company, you have obtained a sound understanding of what financial statements are all about. 

But is that all?

Financial statements, if well prepared and complete, tell a lot to a knowledgeable reader about a company's strengths, weaknesses and ability to successfully continue in business in the future. 

This course will empower you to both read and interpret company accounts. 

FNF 4 - Budgeting Techniques

This programme not only discusses budgets and the budgeting processes, but it also pushes participants to challenge the concept of budgets. 

Participants will look at examples regarding a department as an individual business and learn the "rules" by which departments / divisions within an organisation should work together. 

The programme also explores how organisations plan and measure their performance and touches on such issues as staff motivation and effective organisational design.
