About the CIPS qualification

Established nearly 80 years ago, the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) is the leading body representing the field of purchasing and supply management.
CIPS exists to promote and develop the highest standards of professional skills and integrity amongst professionals involved with purchasing and supply chain management.
Considered to be the central reference point for purchasing and supply industry best practice, their code of conduct is the industry standard around the world.
There are currently over 65,000 professionally recognised and qualified CIPS members and the CIPS qualification is recognised in 150 countries.
CIPS have a “ladder” of qualifications for the purchasing and supply profession throughout the world. There are six levels of qualifications which range from Level 2 up to Level 7.
